Raised in a musical family in Diepkloof, Soweto, Tshegofatso’s passion for the arts blossomed at a young age. Inspired by her sister’s musical talents, she began violin lessons at nine, later venturing into piano studies. Her unwavering commitment led her to hone her skills as both a violinist and vocalist, earning a coveted spot in the prestigious Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble despite limited formal music education opportunities in her community.
