On 24 September 2025, the heart of Vosloorus came alive as Pub & Grill Whitehouse, Mfundo Park, hosted one of the most electrifying hip-hop gatherings of the year — REP YOKULCA. The event was more than just a show; it was a powerful celebration of unity, creativity, and the rising wave of local hip-hop talent.
From the first beat to the final mic drop, REP YOKULCA embodied the true essence of what Vosloorus hip-hop stands for — originality, passion, and resilience. The stage featured a stellar lineup that represented every corner of the kasi music scene, with artists like Kid Em, El Manic, Twiice Kabili, Mparula, Chuck Zero, MXNDE, Lord Bonkurz, Inverno, Baby Henry, Jay Woods, Kat Willy, Siz Tha Moment, King Kansta, Tenonique, Slim, John Nash, and Bibo Tha Vocalist. Each artist brought their unique sound, proving that the Vosloorus music scene is rich with raw, diverse talent.
Behind the decks, the DJs — Headboy Da DJ and BenjaminDJ kept the crowd moving with seamless transitions and carefully curated music selections that perfectly blended local hip-hop with global sounds. The crowd’s energy never dipped, as every beat hit with intention and authenticity.
Hosting the night were dynamic MCs Skiteer and Flames Khaleesi, who kept the vibe alive, interacting effortlessly with the crowd and ensuring the flow of the show stayed as smooth as the beats.
