The Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture (DSAC), in partnership with the Academic and Non-Fiction Authors Association of South Africa (ANFASA), has officially opened the third annual call for submissions for the DSAC Publishing Hub 2025/26. Building on the success of the previous two cycles, this dynamic initiative continues to celebrate South Africa’s diverse languages and untold stories while empowering new and marginalised voices in the literary space.
The DSAC Publishing Hub is a dedicated platform aimed at supporting South African authors, publishers, and language professionals in producing, developing, and distributing quality literature in all official languages. The programme not only funds selected projects but also ensures their nationwide publication and dissemination, strengthening the country’s literary heritage.
