How to Enter

Here’s how you can secure your spot in this year’s awards:

Submission Process:

• Online Submissions: RiSA members will receive a personalized link for an effortless submission process. Non-members can access the form at www.samusicawards.co.za.
• Offline Assistance: Visit the RiSA helpdesk at 152 Bram Fischer Drive, Randburg, where staff are available to assist you during office hours.

Entry Eligibility:

• Albums: Submit an album containing at least four previously unreleased singles (excluding remixes and live recordings).
• Singles: Categories such as Best Collaboration and Remix of the Year accept single entries.

Timeline:

• Submissions Open: December 10, 2024
• Submissions Close: January 31, 2025
• Eligibility Review: Post-submission, all entries will be vetted by a panel of industry experts.
• Nominees Announcement: Following adjudication, five nominees will be revealed per category.

Pro Tip: Ensure your work meets the SAMA31 Rules and was commercially released in South Africa between April 16, 2024, and January 31, 2025.
