South Africa Celebrates Creativity with Inaugural Cultural and Creative Industry Awards

Calling all South African creatives! The Department of Sport, Arts & Culture is proud to announce the Cultural and Creative Industry Awards (CCIA), a new platform to recognize and celebrate the incredible talent and innovation within the country’s diverse cultural landscape.

This prestigious initiative shines a spotlight on exceptional individuals and projects across eight categories, encompassing heritage, visual arts, literature, filmmaking, performing arts, design, and more. With 30 awards up for grabs, the CCIAs offer a chance to be acknowledged for your contributions and gain valuable recognition on a national stage.

  1. Open the doors of learning technical “live technology” skills for young people to develop the Arts in South Africa and beyond.. The Arts needs technology to be developed and showcased, cannot develop the Arts without the technical side.
