The cultural and creative community of Ekurhuleni is in mourning today following the sudden and tragic passing of Mr. Jabu Tabudi, Chairperson of the CCIFSA Ekurhuleni. Mr. Tabudi, a beloved colleague, friend, and brother to many, was a true giant in the arts, and his loss leaves a profound void in the industry.
News of Mr. Tabudi’s passing comes as a shock to all who knew him. He was a young and vibrant leader, brimming with talent and destined for greatness. His jovial spirit, energetic artistic passion, and kindhearted nature endeared him to everyone he met. As a creative leader, Mr. Tabudi was instrumental in steering the Ekurhuleni arts scene to new heights, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations of artists to come.
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Mr. Jabu Tabudi,” said a CCIFSA Ekurhuleni spokesperson. “He was more than just our Chairperson; he was a close friend, a mentor, and a pillar of our community. His warmth, humor, and unwavering dedication to the arts will be deeply missed.”
In this difficult time, the CCIFSA Ekurhuleni calls for respect for the privacy of Mr. Tabudi’s family and loved ones. They request that space and time be given to grieve this immense loss.
