In a time when African voices are rising louder on the global stage, Numen of Story, an initiative by NUMXN, is creating a powerful home for expression, memory, and imagination. More than just an online journal, it is an archival platform dedicated to preserving and amplifying the stories of African creatives shaping the cultural and creative industries.
This is not just a call—it’s an invitation. An invitation for artists, writers, photographers, poets, and storytellers to bring their work to life in a space designed to celebrate Africa’s diverse and evolving creative energy. Whether you are emerging or already established, your voice matters here.
Numen of Story is currently accepting submissions of original works across multiple disciplines—visual art, photography, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and more. Each piece submitted contributes to a growing archive that honours African creativity in all its forms.
For many creatives, finding platforms that both value and preserve their work can be a challenge. Numen of Story bridges that gap, ensuring that your art is not only showcased but also documented as part of Africa’s cultural memory. It’s an opportunity to be part of a movement that honours stories, images, and expressions rooted in our shared heritage.
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, but Phase 1 closes on 20 October 2025. Creatives are encouraged to review the submission guidelines and submit their work via email to:
