Lehlohonolo’s academic path in the arts commenced with his secondary education at Hoërskool Voortrekker, where he graduated in 2004. He then pursued a National Diploma in Fine Art from the Vaal University of Technology, completing his studies in 2010. His education didn’t stop there; recognizing the importance of digital integration in modern art, Lehlohonolo expanded his skills by completing a leadership course in Digital Marketing at the School of Advertising in Johannesburg. This program, coupled with practical experience at VMLY&R in 2019, enabled him to seamlessly blend traditional artistic methods with digital innovation. Lehlohonolo’s artistic repertoire is as varied as it is impressive. His skill in drawing is showcased through the use of Bic pens, pencils, charcoal, and colored pastels. In painting, he effortlessly transitions between oil, acrylic, watercolor, and fabric paint. Not one to limit his creative expression, he also delves into photography, digital art, and illustration. His recent foray into tattoo artistry, perfected during an apprenticeship at Ross Tattoo Parlour in Johannesburg, further exemplifies his dedication to mastering diverse artistic forms.
