Here’s how Debut ignites your creative fire:

  • From Artist to Artpreneur: Develop a business acumen that would make Da Vinci himself proud. Intensive workshops and insightful mentorship sessions will sharpen your entrepreneurial edge. Learn to craft a watertight business model, navigate the financial terrain with the grace of a cheetah, and develop strategies to keep your creative venture flourishing for years to come.
  • Funding Fiesta: Gone are the days of daydreaming about your artistic ambitions being hampered by a lack of resources. Debut grants you access to Launch and Catalyst Grants – financial injections that will propel your artistic dreams into the stratosphere. With these grants at your disposal, you can finally turn those brilliant ideas into reality without holding back!

  • Sharpen Your Creative Edge: Debut isn’t just about the business side of things. It recognizes the importance of nurturing your artistic spirit. The program provides targeted skills development programs to help you refine your craft, explore uncharted creative territories, and push the boundaries of your artistic expression.

Are you ready to be a frontrunner in a movement that’s reshaping the very foundation of South Africa’s creative landscape?

The Debut Fund Programme welcomes emerging creative entrepreneurs from all walks of life – painters, performers, wordsmiths, design wizards, digital media maestros – anyone between the ages of 18 and 35, and from all nine provinces. 1. Morning thanks for the good initiative for our youth however it is very unfortunate that for thirdty years we have been waiting and trying to get this opportunities. They are now available but only limited to youth. I so wish that such program can also be inclusive to artists older than 35yrs some programs exclude our boys who who are equally disadvantaged like young girls. No wonder our boys are idling in township and resort to crime and drugs, they are so frustrated. We as older people we don’t have employment but we have skills and natural talents but no opportunities presented to us. Back in the days our uncles used to impart their creative skills to us. Off late they are idling in the townships hence they also resort to crime and abusing our female counterparts. It is very sad, let is not marginalize or segregate black society. Let’s have equal opportunities in order to alleviate poverty and reduce crime thanks.
